Are U the Private Type?

Shy, full of secrets or just careful? We have set up an easy way for you to control your privacy. Check your settings here today and make sure you know who can see your profile and blog.

The secret articles option (see POST) also adds direct protection to your blog content, and you can individually choose what posts you'd like to add more privacy.

Also if you need to block someone, go to their profile, and click the plus+ icon under their picture/avatar. Here you will find the block button. Your blacklist is to be modified in your settings, under 'friends'.

A Pro' Profile!

Check out our newly uploaded cover images to customize your profile (click the wheel on the left side of your profile page to make these changes):

You can also create your own color palettes to personalize your profile even more!

After user requests, it is now possible to click and drag to define the size of the comments block:

And finally, you can now heart someone's profile photo and 'What's Up'!

Pimp Your Profile

The new profile lets your put a large visible background image of your choice and move around the blocks, to make your personal page look even nicer:

The info block contains your description, your number of fans and sources. The tabs on the right side gives direct access to your blog and the various websites and other network accounts you might have.

For the image/video/interest icons on the left side, simply drag your mouse arrow over them to see a preview of the latest uploads.

To get in touch with someone, use the communicating buttons under your profile pic to follow, send a message, heart, share a profile, or give a gift, or even report the profile:

Block number two contains your "What's Up" status, and comments from others.

Also, drag your mouse arrow over the right side on your screen and can read your description or directly modify your own. No need to have out dated info on yourself, this is SO simple! :D

Go ahead! Make the coolest profile you can!

Finally and importantly, to manage your background image, you have to go to the little wheel button for changing configurations, at the top left side on your screen . Here you can also change your theme colors and font:

Control your fans and blacklist

With the new follow/unfollow system in Skyrock, there has been some concern from you guys that anyone can become your fan and perhaps you do not want certain users to get all your updates. You control this by clicking 'unfollow' in the 'my fans' page (the ones YOU follow are your sources):

And to control the ones you have blacklisted, go to your settings/friends:

Now Your Friends Can Subscribe to You and You to Them!

Did you notice the new function on your account? NO?! %)

Go to a blog you like reading, and click on 'More options'. Here you'll find the possibility to subscribe to a blog! This function is also present at the bottom of a blog page. Perfect for newsletters and frequent users.

Thanks to this function you can receive each new article on the blog you have subscribed to (max 3 per day no worries 8) ). People without a Skyrock account can also subscribe with their e-mail address.

Not bad huh?
