You're surfing blithely on the web, as usual, when suddenly, something VERY, VERY wrong jumps out at you from the screen. Photos or writings that you authored have been hijacked by other bloggers, mocking your works, or worse, claiming them as their own!
Welcome to the Internet ;=)
Here's how to avoid the problem:
- Protect your work Leave your mark on your pictures, or art. Sign your pictures with your username, so that it's present even if people steal your works. - Respect other people's work Don't do unto others what you don't want to be done unto you! Give credit to the people who inspired you, or whom you copied pictures from, by citing their username or Skyrock address.
You're having difficulty finding an article among the 500+ in your blog. Why not create a page summing up all of them using permalinks?
A permalink is the unique Internet address attributed to each article. Just click on the "#" that's found on the lower left of each article, and the address will appear in your browser address bar. It's practical for citing specific articles,or copy it in your own article summary.
Can't get enough of your favourite Skyrock artist's latest song? Get your fill while surfing on Skyrock, as the track loops in a pop-up.
How does it work? 1) Get on your favourite Music Blog 2) Click on the little square button, on the top right corner of the player, which then appears as a pop-up 3) Now you can keep surfing the Internet with that tune looping until you want it to stop!
Note: If nothing happens when you click on the square button, it's maybe because you have to authorise pop-ups for Skyrock!
Your photo won't appear, or you can't upload a song on your Music Blog? Don't panic: Maybe the media format is wrong, or going through our approval process

So what's up with these friends who missed half of your b-day party because they couldn't find the location?
Get on Google Maps and publish the exact itinerary so that they have no such excuse in the future. Just enter the addresses of where they're leaving and where they're going, and the shortest road is automatically calculated!
Are you completely fanatical about something, like your favourite sport, a new fad, TV shows like High School Musical, or stars like Justin and Beyonce? If your blog is dedicated to a single, all-consuming passion, leave us a comment with a link!
If you are an aspriring musician, and want to share your music with other Skyrock members, create your Music Blog and promote yourself by leaving comments here too. You just might become the new Skyrock Idol :=)
It's your birthday and you want all of your friends to join the bash. How do you make sure that everyone gets there by posting the party's location on your blog! The answer is our Google Maps widget.
So, how does it work?
1) Search the address via maps.google.co.uk. If you're from the US, it'd be maps.google.com; for Canadians, it's maps.google.ca. For example, if the party's at Ministry of Sound in London, just enter "Ministry of Sound, London" in search, and a detailed map with an aerial view of your destination appears in just seconds.
2) Copy the HTML "Link to this page" (found on the top right, just above the map) and paste it into the "widget" field when you create an article in your blog.
3) And then you party like there's no tomorrow
** Out of precaution, don't publish a map with your home address. It's much safer to show just your neighbourhood.
