From Wednesday 6th of May several important changes are going to occur on the profiles ratings.
We decided to review the profiles rating system and this is how its going to be :
One rating per day and per profile.
Once you have giving a rate to a profile you cannot change it before the following day. The same thing goes for the others. You're going to have to impress people to obtain lots and lots of ratings every day. ;)
A new indicator for the tops : The score
Currently it's the average rating that is used for the Top 500. Therefore a user that has 10 “+5” and 10 “+4” finds himself not as well ranked than a user having just one “+5”. It's not very fare. :(
It's going to change. From Wednesday it's YOUR SCORE that's going to decide the rank in the Top 500. The SCORE basically rewards the most “frequent” users meaning those who had the best rates at the time.
For example : If you have 50 “+5” and 20 “+4” you score will be 4.65 and you'll be better ranked than someone having 10 “+5” because his score will be 4.54 !
To put in place this new rate system, we must reset everything to zero (even the top 500).
It's the right time to get good rates and be the 1st in line !
